Welcoming our New Team Member – Stephen Cole!

We are very pleased and excited to welcome our new team member, Stephen Cole!
Stephen will be joining us as a Thought Leadership Board Member and as an ambassador and voice for our girls who are building Afghanistan 2.0.
Stephen is a bitcoiner and technology investor with over 10 years of leadership experience in Silicon Valley companies ranging from large enterprises to early-stage startups, including eBay, Cloudscaling, Nervana, and Intel. In addition to his web background, Stephen is also founder of the OC Bitcoin Network, a Bitcoin-focused educational group in Southern California, and previously served as a board member of a non-profit centered around the care and education of children in East Africa.
Stephen is passionate about using emerging technologies to promote equal opportunity and empower individuals. A believer in the saying, “There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root,” Stephen feels Code to Inspire’s work to provide the skills needed to thrive in the digital age strikes at the root of an important problem faced by young women in Afghanistan.
Having been a supporter of Code to Inspire since 2016, Stephen is thrilled to join as an advisor and help in their mission to shape the future of women’s education in Afghanistan.
