Re-Opening our Coding School After One Year!

Today we are thrilled to announce the official reopening of our coding school in Herat! This week we were able to take the entrance exam from 350 applicants in three days for our new graphic design cohort.

As Mawlana Jalaluddin Balkhi or Rumi said: “Where there is ruin, there is hope for a treasure”, you can always find something valuable in ruin. For me, girls in Afghanistan are treasures and investing in their future through tech education is where ruins have meaning and value.

Grateful to our team and their hard work on the ground for being an essential part of this reopening after one year!

We are so proud of our talented graphic design graduate Effat Hossaini. She is a talented and gifted artist who is shining the world around herself with her art.

Her new illustration is inspired  by the tiles in Herat Central Blue Mosque based on  Kamāl ud-Dīn Behzād Islamic miniature painting.

She used Adobe Illustrator and created this piece in seven days.
